How often do we focus on only the bad stuff and in doing so we miss the good stuff?
Imagine if you were in the most beautiful place you could think of. I mean the greatest place ever. A place that was completely free from anything that was bad.
Would you ever want to leave that place? Or would you stay there forever? Well Jesus was in that place and he chose to leave it and come to the worst place he could imagine a place of filth and greed, a place of sickness and sorrow, a place of death. Jesus saw the good in the mist of all the bad. He knew that if he came down we would one day be able to go to that perfect place with him.
Jesus wasn’t looking at himself he was looking at us. Remember when your going through those tough times look for the good in the bad. And always remember that Jesus is with you.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
